Tomatin Distillery
- Distillery: Tomatin Distillery
- Location: Tomatin, south of Inverness
- Founded: 1897 (with earlier illicit distillation in the region)
- Owner: Tomatin Distillery Company (owned by a Japanese consortium since 1986)
- Notable feature:
- Tomatin was once known as one of Scotland’s largest distilleries
- Produces both single malts and whisky for blends
- Style: usually smooth, fruity and slightly spicy, with influences from bourbon and sherry casks
- Also has a peated range: Cù Bòcan
💡 Fun fact: Tomatin once had more than 20 stills and its own village for workers, complete with houses and amenities — quite unique in the whisky world.

Great place, we've been buying our wines and champagnes, as well as whiskey and gin, there for years. Always friendly and helpful. Well, they're back open today, and I'll be back soon for another order :)

Large selection of French wines, but also whiskies, etc. Regular opportunities for wine tastings, sometimes even with the presence of the domain owners themselves.
