Jura Prophecy is a powerful, heavily peated single malt from the island of Jura and is one of the distillery’s most distinctive expressions.

• Nose: intense smoke, sea salt, leather, dark spices
• Palate: lots of peat smoke, black pepper, dark chocolate, dried fruit, oak
• Finish: long, dry, smoky and slightly medicinal

This is the ‘dark side’ of Jura: much more powerful than the standard.

• ex-bourbon casks (American oak) → vanilla, structure
• Oloroso sherry casks → dark fruit notes, nuts, depth

• made with a high proportion of heavily peated malt
• combination of smoke + sherry gives a dark, intense profile
