Glenfarclas 15 Year is a flavourful whisky from Scotland. The whisky is dark brown in colour and is bottled in a 70cl bottle. Its complexity is due to the base spirit having been matured for a full 15 years after distillation. It opens with plenty of fruity notes on the nose, particularly green apples, orange peel and blueberries. This is followed by sherry and butterscotch. In the background, you will detect malt and various herbs. After the aroma comes the flavour. This opens with a sweet note of Canadian maple syrup, a recurring hint of malt and smoky peat. The whole experience ends with a long-lasting finish.
