Bowmore N°1 is a limited edition. It the first NAS Bowmore to be released in a series of four. Bowmore No.1 matured exclusively in first fill bourbon casks. It has become a very accessible Bowmore that releases a hint of honey on the nose. Hints of smokiness and a soft orderings of peat in the background. Remarkably fine result for a presumably -6-year-old- single malt whisky. We clearly recognised the style of Bowmore but slightly less intense, ideal as an apero or with a salty dish like oysters. Not too complex and still Bowmore. very creditable result for a whisky with no age statement. Try it yourself and watch Bowmore release its first single malt whisky with no released age.
