Bowmore 15 Year is a whisky that comes from Scottish sources. The drink is amber/brown in colour and has been allowed to undergo a period of maturation in both bourbon and sherry casks. This period lasted for 15 years. The result is a whisky bursting with character. After the bottle is opened, aromas of dark chocolate and sultanas will enter the nose. The aroma also contains characteristics of sherry and leather. The flavour is very versatile in nature. It contains influences of peat, different types of spices and fresh fruit. These flavours are underpinned by pleasant influences of menthol and a gentle floral tone. Bowmore 15 Year is best drunk pure, possibly with a cube of ice in the glass.
