Les Granges des Papes is a selection of grapes from our partner domains and our wine growers. This cuvée takes its name from the barns built in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley in the 16th century to house the supplies of the papal court. Located in the heart of a terroir with a famous pebble layer, the vines of this Châteauneuf-du-Pape give birth to an exceptional wine. The grapes are harvested when fully ripe, crushed and destemmed. Vinification is traditional with a long maceration (4 to 5 weeks) followed by 10 to 12 months of aging in new barrels (medium toast) for 30% to 50% of the blend.
