Vineyard:

The plots of the Bourgogne Côte d'Or appellation are located on the plain, in the Côte de Beaune, on alluvial soils.

Vinification and ageing:

Complete pneumatic pressing, followed by cold static sedimentation.

The wine is aged on lees in French oak barrels for 10 months. After a spell of frost, temperatures at the end of April are much milder and the sunshine is favourable for vegetative growth. The hot, dry summer then slowed down the growth of the vines and the ripening of the grapes. Fortunately, the rains in June and the showers in mid-August gave the vines what they needed to transform the grape pulp into a generous juice.
