The Glenlivet 12 Years Double Oak is a beautiful amber-coloured whisky from Scotland. This version has on a combination of European oak barrels and American oak casks. The result is a delicious whisky with a pleasant vanilla character. Its aroma kicks off with scents of a summer meadow, accompanied by tropical fruits in particular a peppery tone of pineapple. Its palate opens up with floral notes, soft and sweet with notes of fresh peaches and pears. Underpinned by a hefty layer of vanilla. With an aftertaste of marzipan and fresh hazelnuts.
