The High Coast Älv – Delicate Vanilla Smoke is a Swedish single malt from the High Coast distillery (formerly known as Box). The Älv, Swedish for ‘river’, is named after the Ångermanälven river which runs alongside the distillery and is bottled as part of the High Coast Origin’s series. The whisky has been matured for 6 years in first-fill bourbon casks and was bottled in 2016 at 46%, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, as a limited release of 8,529 bottles.
