Gouden Carolus Single Malt (46% vol.) is a refined Belgian whiskey distilled from the malt mash of the Gouden Carolus Tripel beer. A first for Belgium are the hand-beaten copper stills, so-called pot stills, in which the pure grain mash is distilled. Voted Best Belgian Single Malt (World Whiskies Awards 2018).

The successive maturation in First Fill Bourbon barrels followed by further maturation in 'Anker' barrels (oak barrels processed by the barrel maker according to our own specifications) results in a refined whiskey with a full and balanced taste. The subtle fruit aromas are nicely complemented by notes of wood and vanilla.
