Glenrothes Whisky Makers Cut is an amber-coloured single malt whisky from the Speyside region in Scotland. It has an aroma of pickled citrus peel and oak.
The flavour of this whisky is rich, has notes of vanilla and hints of orange peel. As a result, the finish is long and fruity, with bouts of nutmeg.
The whisky has matured in first fill sherry oak casks and these casks were specially selected by Glenrothes' master whisky maker.
