The Cooper’s Choice Caol Ila 8 Years Old 2012 Bourbon Cask Matured is an 8-year-old Islay single malt from the Caol Ila distillery, bottled by the independent bottler Cooper’s Choice (Vintage Malt Whisky Company). This Caol Ila was distilled in November 2012 and matured in bourbon cask 331912. It was bottled in 2021 at cask strength of 55%, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, as a limited single cask release of 330 bottles.

Nose: citrusy smoke with sea salt and ash

Palate: toasted wood and bourbon biscuits with smoky oil notes, tar and sweet peat

Finish: peppery peat notes and drying towards the finish
