The 25-year-old Balvenie completes the Single Barrel series from the Balvenie Distillery. The Speyside Single Malt matured in different types of casks personally selected by blend master David Stewart. Each barrel gave its personal touch and resulted in a bottling of less than 300 copies. An American oak barrel in which the Balvenie matured for 25 years. The Balvenie 25 Years has a rich aroma in which the American oak stands out together with a touch of nuts. Once in the mouth, the tongue is stimulated with a spicy taste that is accompanied by a soft note of honey and vanilla, making the Single Malt silky smooth down the throat. A sweet aftertaste of honey completes the picture.
