Auchentoshan American Oak is a Lowland Malt. It has had a fine maturation on ‘First Fill Bourbon barrels’ and has thus managed to create a nice balance of vanilla, coconut and citrus with a gentle influence from the Scottish Lowlands. Distilled three times, it has a beautiful golden yellow colour and a very fine finish with spicy notes and a hint of grapefruit.
