This Arran 10 years was released in 2017, in honor of the 10th anniversary of James MacTaggart, the Master Distiller of Arran. James MacTaggart joined in 2007, the same year this whiskey was distilled. Maturation takes place in first-fill bourbon barrels, after which the whiskey is bottled at natural cask strength. The edition of Arran 10 years is limited to 12,000 bottles. Expect a fresh and lively character in which citrus and herbs balance each other.
