AnCnoc has released its second batch of Peatheart single malt, a heavily peated expression with a hefty 40 PPM measurement! We were very impressed with anCnoc's peaty expressions, and Peatheart again offers wonderful waves of barbecue-style smoke and earthy richness, brilliantly balanced by tangy tropical fruit. Mango and mint leaf, quickly followed by hints of roasted meat and charred oak.The peat is a touch more subdued on the palate (though certainly still an integral part of the flavour profile), leaving some room for pineapple and liquid caramel.
