Compagnie des Indes Jamaïca 5 ans Navy Strength is a blended rum made from a selection of three Jamaican rums from the island's distilleries.
A Navy Strength version that will appeal to connoisseurs and fully respond to the craze for these rums with their distinctive profiles.
Compagnie des Indes is committed to offering you authentic rums, with no additions or overdone flavours.
This blend has a strength of 57° and uses a Pot Still production process that is particularly emblematic of the island.
The term ‘Navy Strength’ recalls the days when a few drops of rum were thrown into gunpowder to observe the reaction and ensure the right alcohol content!
The rums in this blend are at least 5 years old.
While they were matured in new ex-Bourbon casks, partly in their original environment, they were bottled exclusively in France.
Nose
Generous fruity aromas give structure to the nose (banana, apricot, pineapple).
Palate
The palate is fruity and full of alcohol. The presence of apricot and grape completes a persistent and delicious banana.
Finish
The finish is fresh, vegetal and well-balanced.
