It is the first vintage rum produced by the son of Lucien Fohine, 1998 being the year of his arrival at the head of Compagnie Vidzar.

It is a rum resulting from a blend of rums from several distilleries in Madagascar, and we will therefore find flavors already encountered during the tasting of old rum 6 years old, spices, vanilla, but which will mingle notes of candied orange. Coffee and chocolate notes will always be present.

It is a sumptuous rum, with an exceptional length in the mouth, which will truly delight the greatest amateurs. Those who are more knowledgeable will also find a drier side to it, which is sure to accentuate their pleasure even further, and will appreciate more particularly the exceptional balance obtained between all its aromatic notes.

Finally, the 10-year aging in barrels that have contained whiskey, will reveal light and elegant smoky notes, which will complement the complexity of this nectar.

Its dressing, made of banana leaves glued by hand by the specialists of Compagnie Vidzar will add to its authentic character.
