A brand that claims to produce rums that taste like rum! This is why Compagnie des Indes promotes its production as having no added ingredients or over-rated flavours.
The ‘Caribbean’ aged rum we present here is an exclusive Caribbean blend, made from rums from the islands of British Guiana, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados.
These rums were matured for 3 to 5 years in Bourbon casks in the tropics before being shipped to Europe, where they were meticulously tasted to create the final blend. Bottling took place in France.
Honoured with a bronze medal in 2017 at the International Rum Conference in Madrid, this old rum will take you on a journey to the heart of the Caribbean!
Nose
The nose opens with a bouquet of exotic fruits and spices.
Palate
Tasting reveals generous, light notes of cane juice. This very fresh impression is completed by an exotic fruitiness.
Finish
The finish maintains this sensation of freshness, with delicious spices (cloves, ginger, liquorice, etc.).
