Made from Touriga Nacional (60%), Touriga Francesa (30%) and Tino Cão (10%). The wine is aged in wooden barrels for 20 months before further maturing in the bottle. The port is at its best when it matures in the bottle for 8 to 15 years. The harvest was late in 2007 because it was a relatively dry year. Temperatures were also lower than average almost all year round. The grapes had a good sugar content, good acidity and low pH values, making it a good year for port and wine! Fine port in which intense fruit predominates. Well balanced and elegant. Many aromas in the nose that are reminiscent of the scents of the Quinta.
