In Het Anker’s maturation warehouses, every cask is carefully monitored and regularly tasted. From time to time, the family comes across exceptional expressions, which are bottled especially for connoisseurs under the ‘Finest Selection’ label.
For this edition, we have chosen a whisky matured in unique Marsala casks. The name Etna refers to the famous Sicilian volcano, whose minerals and soil structure enrich the region’s grapes and wines in a unique way.
The result is a whisky with aromas of sweet ginger, praline and freshly baked biscuits, complemented by hints of almond and vanilla. The flavour is full-bodied and fruity, with influences of Marsala wine.
