Harvests are tawny ports from a single harvest year. The minimum age requirement is seven years, but it is Quinta da Devesa's tradition to allow the wine to mature for many more years before bottling. The wine matures in our cellars in balseiros, cinéis or pipas of 550 liters. Porto Colheita 1976 has an extraordinary bouquet and astonishing acidity, due to its complexity, quality and refined flavors. Produced and aged in Quinta da Devesa for more than 40 years, it has an intense aroma and taste, with suggestions of seafood jam, marmelada, dried fruit, cinnamon and coffee, but always quite fresh and elegant. Delicious and subtle, with a very long and powerful ending. Bottled in 2018.
