Vineyard: Pommard is an iconic Burgundy vineyard covering an area of approximately 340 hectares, considered ‘the flower of Beaune wines’since the Middle Ages.
Vinification & Ageing: Vinification in small temperature-controlled vats, followed by long ageing on fine lees in French oak barrels.
The very mild winter, with temperatures above seasonal averages, led to early bud break. The exceptional climatic conditions of this vintage resulted in ripe grapes across all the appellations produced.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby red colour with purple hues. Delicate nose developing fruity aromas. Full-bodied and smooth on the palate, with slightly vanilla-like ageing notes revealing ripe fruit and a long, dense finish.
Serving temperature: 16 to 18°C
