Red wine from the Les Collines du Bourdic vineyard in France, in the Duché d’Uzès – Languedoc/Southern Rhône region.
An elegant and gastronomic southern French blend of mainly Syrah and Grenache. The wine opens with spicy notes, featuring aromas of garrigue, forest floor, ripe red berries and a subtle hint of oak. On the palate, it is powerful yet refined, with soft tannins, red fruit jam, a touch of vanilla and a long, silky finish. Made to pair perfectly with truffle dishes, game and lamb.
Taste profile:
Full-bodied – spicy – silky smooth – ripe red fruit – elegant hint of oak.
Barrel ageing:
Traditional vinification with approximately 15 days’ maceration. Around 20% is aged in oak barrels, which adds extra structure, finesse and hints of vanilla. The wine is bottled unfiltered to preserve its character.
Ageing potential:
Already very drinkable now, but develops additional complexity with bottle ageing. Ideal drinking window: 2024–2028, with a ageing potential of approximately 5 to 8 years.
