That Filliers Distillery has been honing its wooden barrel maturation process since the 1960s is evident in this Barrel Aged gin. Due to the wood from Bourbon barrels made from American oak, you get a nice aroma of vanilla after eight years of maturation. This softens the pronounced juniper berry flavour, while still remaining distinct.
