Maredsous Aéquatis is the result of an infusion of more than 10 medicinal plants, including juniper, mugwort, hawthorn, ash and meadowsweet, in a distillate of organic certified cereals (barley, rye and wheat). All plants known to promote balance and digestion. Gin based on medicinal plants Maredsous Gin is produced from beneficial, medicinal plants. Maredsous is tucked away in the Molignée valley. It is an ideal area thanks to its very diverse nature: you will find forests, wet meadows, limestone hills, coulisse landscapes and natural springs. The Maredsous area is one of the few regions spared from urbanisation, industrial and agricultural pollution and intensive land use. This location makes it a favourable habitat for wild flora and the particularly fragile plant species used to produce Maredsous Gin. Only bio-certified grains are used to produce the ‘MAREDSOUS Gin’ range. Organic farming is free from pesticides, chemical fertilisers, food irradiation or genetically modified grains. Cultivation methods are environmentally friendly and protect soil and waterways.
