Vineyard: The vines are located between the Saône plain
and the Mâconnais hills, with exposures
varying from west to east.
Soils: Clay-limestone soils.
Vinification: After sorting, the harvest is
placed in vats for 8 days, undergoing punching down and
pumping over. Fermentation temperatures are
monitored regularly.
Tasting notes: This wine has a brilliant
ruby colour with purple highlights. Frank and expressive,
this wine develops aromas of black cherries,
blackberries and strawberry jam on the nose. Smooth, supple and
thirst-quenching, the palate offers aromas of blackcurrant.
Food and wine pairing: Pairs well with roasted and grilled meats,
game terrines and Saint Marcellin cheese.
