Four Roses Bourbon originates from the United States. It is distilled in the southern state of Kentucky and is amber in colour. It is available in a bottle with a capacity of 100cl. After distillation, the drink is put into American white oak barrels, in which it is allowed to mature for at least five years. What emerges is an aroma with sweet characteristics of toffee, marmalade and caramel. In the background, an acidic influence of citrus fruit can be recognised. These characteristics carry over to the flavour of the whisky, where they interact with an influence of honey and toasted oak.
