Stéphane Berg's Pinot Blanc is a fresh, elegant white wine from Alsace, characterised by finesse and drinkability. It is not overly dominated by wood or overripe fruit, but beautifully balanced with pure fruit, subtle minerality and pleasant acidity. The price/quality ratio seems very good, especially for those looking for a pleasant, light white wine to accompany fish or light dishes.

Fresh aroma of citrus fruits (think lime, lemon) and green apples.
Floral notes, particularly acacia.
Possibly subtle minerality: a slightly stony impression, not exuberant, but a persistent undertone that adds freshness.
The wine is quite fresh on the palate; good acidity that is not sharp but invigorating.
Made in a fairly dry style, with enough body to avoid being thin; it has volume but remains elegant.
The structure is nicely balanced: acidity, fruit, and mouthfeel without anything dominating.
Finish / Aftertaste
Not very long, but pleasant and clean. The citrus/apple aromas linger, along with a slight bitterness (or minerality) towards the end.
Freshness is retained, ideal for drinking with pleasure without expecting too much complexity.
Pairing (occasions / side dishes)
Pairs well with seafood, shellfish, oysters.
Grilled fish, prepared en papillote, or with light sauces.
