The Botanist was a wild idea. When we announced in 2010 that we would be producing gin, we shocked the traditionalists in the rather rigid world of scotch whisky.

22 EMBLEMATIC LOCAL BOTANICALS, THE RICHNESS OF THE ISLAND. Locally and responsibly picked on islay by our OWN PROFESSIONAL PLUKKER. To create The Botanist, we explored our own backyard, our wild Isle of Inner Hebrides Islay.
