1. Unlike other gins, HENDRICK'S is distilled in not-so-gin-friendly Scotland. This allows us to utilize centuries of distilling expertise and the abundance of pure, soft water that we source from the local Penwhapple reservoir.
2. HENDRICK'S attaches great importance to the sublime and exceptional quality of our ingredients. We use a delicious and special palette of eleven plants, originating from the four corners of the earth.
3. Only HENDRICK'S uses a combination of distillates from the Carter Head still and the Bennet still. By ocking the plants, our Bennett boiler (a type of copper boiler) produces a distillate with a wonderfully deep flavor. On the other hand, our Carter Head still bathes the plants in vapor, producing an extremely smooth distillate with subtle flavor characteristics. By combining the distillates from the wee stills, we obtain a divinely smooth gin that has both the desired character and the balance of subtle flavors.
4. HENDRICK'S is made by hand in small quantities of only 450 liters at a time - the smaller the quantity, the better controlled the production process.
5. Only HENDRICK'S is made with extracts of Belgian cucumber and Bulgarian red rose petals. This creates a wonderfully refreshing gin with a delightful floral aroma.
