Aroma Plums, chocolate, vanilla and black pepper.
Taste Full-bodied, smooth Malbec with ripe fruit and hints of oak, giving the wine a creamy character.
Serve with Delicious with empañadas with spiced beef.
About the winery Trapiche was founded in 1883 with a small vineyard at the foot of the Andes, called El Trapiche. Starting as a local business, Trapiche has since grown into a major winery with over 1,200 hectares of vineyards. In addition, they work with more than 300 winegrowers in the area to offer wine from the best terroirs in Mendoza.
Vineyard and region From various vineyards in La Consulta and Chacayes in Uco Valley (Mendoza, Argentina). The vineyards have alluvial soils with round stones.

Vinification The grapes are destemmed. The juice remains in contact with the skins for three days. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26 to 29 degrees for 18 days. The wine is then aged for 13 months in used oak barrels (80% French, 20% American).
