Edradour 10 Years is a delicious single malt whisky, light brown in colour and from the Scottish Highlands. Overall a very smooth whisky with sweet notes and creamy texture. Despite its soft accessible character, it still has a fairly intense aroma, earthy notes with an intense sherry core surrounded by enticing notes of vanilla. The source of its intensity comes mainly from the hint of peat that works its way firmly up through the other aromas. However, it is in its flavour where it calms down with soft honey-soaked notes, barley and toasted almonds. Surprising notes of dark rum emerge in the background. Its finish is warming with spiced fruitcake and light liquorice flavours.
