Benriach The Original Ten 10 Years is a beautiful golden-coloured single malt whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland. This version has been aged in three different casks, namely bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks. This created a very slightly smoky whisky with a rich aroma of orchard fruits surrounded by a slight edge of honey and toasted oak. Its flavour is deep with notes of pear and nectarines. Its sweetness is not only fruity in nature but also has a malty note along with peppery notes of almonds and a hint of spicy vanilla. These eventually run into a sweet finish of apricot and creamy vanilla.
