The Balvenie 12 Year Single Barrel is a golden-coloured single malt whisky manufactured in Scotland. The distillery is located in the Speyside region, situated in the north of the country. Before being bottled in a 70cl bottle, it was first allowed to mature in bourbon casks for 12 years. This creates influences of creamy vanilla in the aroma, along with notes of oak, syrup and coffee. Tones of toffee, fresh apples and sweet caramel enrich the flavour. Spicy characteristics lead the undertone on the palate. The finish is long-lasting and sweet in nature.
