A 12-year-old Aultmore has now become available in John Dewar & Sons' Last Great Malts series. This is good news, as there are very few official bottlings of this fine Speysider. Until now, Aultmore mainly disappeared into Dewar's blended whisky, but this bottling proves that there is much to enjoy about Aultmore as a single malt. The whisky matured on refill hogsheads and the result is a very mild and delicately sweet dram. It is bottled without cold filtration and with its natural colour at 46%.
