Florian Beuchet founded the Compagnie des Indes brand. His travels have enabled him to discover delicious rums, particularly in the Caribbean and Central America, which are then blended.
The result has been a resounding success, year after year!
You too can discover this brand, which promotes its products as additive-free. It's a purist's approach that's sure to win us over...
The 'Latino' old rum we're presenting here is a blend of 60% Guatemalan rums, topped up with rums from Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados.
These rums were all matured for a minimum of 5 years in Bourbon casks in the tropics before being shipped to Europe, where they were meticulously tasted to create the final blend. Bottling takes place in France.
Honoured with a silver medal in 2017 at the International Rum Conference in Madrid, this old rum with a “Latino” flavour is sure to seduce you with its great delicacy.
Nose
The nose offers elegant aromas, marked by a lovely freshness. Scents of almond and marzipan create the illusion of a macaroon. A nose full of delicacy.
Palate
The wine opens with hints of liquorice. The whole is refined and accompanied by a very pleasant exotic fruitiness, dominated by pineapple.
Finish
The finish is round and silky. It is coated in honey and punctuated by hints of roasted coffee.
