Known as one of the most famous drinks of its kind, Ricard comes from France. This Pastis has a strong flavour of anise and liquorice, which is complemented by rich notes of spices. Ricard is a creation of Paul Ricard who launched the drink in 1932. Today, the makers still create Ricard based on the same recipe as its founder did. The recipe is a closely guarded secret, but it is known that coriander, lemon grass and aniseed, among others, are used in the production of this drink.
