Mezcal San Cosme is a correct Mescal -initially produced for the German market- but fortunately the bottle has since found its way to Belgium. San Cosme, like most mescal, comes from the Oaxaca region and is produced in small batches. Whereas tequila can only be made from 1 type of agave (blue), for mescal one has a choice of 8 different types. This makes the diversity much greater, allowing for very complex flavours. Mezcal San Cosme is made in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is made from 100% Espadin Agave and has a beautiful flavour. A clear mezcal with an aroma of freshly cooked agave with a strong smell of alcohol and an undertone of uncooked agave. A warm and pleasant aftertaste.
