VINIFICATION: The grapes are then harvested at optimal ripeness, vinified and macerated according to the traditional method in barrels. Since the maceration is long, between 3 and 4 weeks with two transfers once a day for two weeks. The malolactic fermentation takes place in wood.
BARREL AGEING: 4 months.
This wine has a dark black color with shiny reflections. In the nose aromas of black fruit, blackcurrants, black cherries mixed with peppery, spicy and vanilla notes. Generous and round in the mouth, with silky tannins and a nice length.
This wine goes wonderfully with beef, lamb or pork, but also with hamburgers or barbecues. Chicken in sauce or grilled vegetables.
