Lillet red is a blend of 85% Bordeaux wines and 15% macerated liqueurs. The liqueur is made from sweet orange peels from Spain and Morocco and the zest of bitter green oranges from Haiti.
The mixture is aged in oak barrels. When finished, delicious aromas of orange, spices and vanilla escape!
The flavour palette is as versatile as it is surprising. You discover alternating notes of raspberries, ginger, cinnamon and notes of ripe plums that linger for a long time.
Lillet Red therefore does not need much extra. The aperitif is delicious on its own with a slice of lemon or in the mix with various drinks.
