Vivid ruby red. Intense bouquet of small berries accompanied by pleasant spicy notes. Wine with an important structure based on a silky tannin structure. Voluminous and balanced on the palate, characterized by long persistence. 12 months barrel aging. Tenuta Casabianca is surrounded by two nature reserves (Basso Merse and Bogatto) and is bordered by two rivers, the Ombrone, which separates it from the DOCG Brunello di Montalcino, and the Merse, which divides the Montecucco DOCG. Here the 71 hectares of vineyards together with their delicate harmony fit perfectly into this unique and fascinating corner of the Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG. The vineyards are located between 190 and 235 meters above sea level, with a predominantly north-south orientation. The vineyards have an average density of 5,000 plants per hectare. The planted vines, the result of clonal selections in the farm's experimental vineyard, are predominantly Sangiovese, as well as Merlot, Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Colorino, Vermentino and Viognier.
