Laphroaig 10 Year is a quality single malt whisky manufactured on Islay. This is a Scottish island famous for its smoky whiskies. This version has been allowed to undergo a 10-year maturation process, which makes it powerful and warm in character. In the aroma, you mostly recognise hints of peat smoke, medicinal influences and a slightly sweetish undertone. The flavour is mostly characterised by notes of sea salt and seaweed, with a recurring accent of peat. It is further complemented by notes of wood, vanilla and spices. The finish is long-lasting and dry in character, with a subtle tone of iodine. Laphroaig 10 Years is bottled in a 70cl bottle and contains 40% alcohol.
