Lagavulin 16 Year is originally a Scotch whisky distilled on the island of Islay. It is amber in colour and is bottled in a 70cl bottle. It has a very powerful character thanks to its long maturation of 16 years. This took place in casks made of oak. As a result, the aroma has notes of peat and iodine. The taste is very versatile, containing characteristics of wood, a combination of sweet and salty notes and a recurring hint of peat smoke.
