This exceptional single malt is made from a blend of unpeated and peated whiskies matured for more than 21 years in: ex bourbon casks ex sherry casks new oak casks ex Bordeaux red wine casks During this long maturation process, BENRIACH's light peat softens and it mingles with aromas of fruit, malt and oak. After 21 years, the different flavours have transformed into an elegant peaty honey flavour, true craftsmanship. Each cask, with its own characteristics, is then subtly blended into a rich, elegant single malt with aromas of orchard fruit, toasted pine and a smoky honey finish.
