A Taiwanese single malt whisky matured in Sherry casks at Nantou Distillery. Nantou is located in Nantouhsien, where whisky has only been distilled since 2008; four pot stills were installed for this purpose by Forsyths of Rothes, Speyside. The Nantou Single Malt Sherry Type won the silver medal at the World Whisky Award in 2015. A very remarkable achievement for such a young distillery.
