Mackmyra Moment Mareld (release no. 13 in the Moment series) is a powerful and complex Swedish single malt with a distinctively smoky, fruity and spicy profile. The name “Mareld” refers to bioluminescence (“sea fire”), which symbolises its vibrant and layered flavour.
In aroma and flavour, it combines smoke, citrus, dried fruit, vanilla and spices (such as juniper and aniseed), with a distinct yet well-integrated sweetness from sherry casks. The finish is spicy, slightly smoky and slightly woody.
