Kingsbarns Balcomie is a single malt whisky with a refined and slightly sweet character. This whisky is crafted using a local barley variety and is fully matured in ex-Oloroso sherry butts made from American oak. This Lowland whisky combines rich notes of sweetness with subtle hints of spice.
The aroma of Kingsbarns Balcomie is reminiscent of fresh cinnamon buns, syrupy notes and a hint of dried cherries. Fresh pastries, hints of pineapple, sugar, sweets, cinnamon and cocoa complement one another on the palate. The finish combines fruit marmalade with hints of chocolate and nuts.
