Black Velvet is a pure Canadian Blend with a full and round character. Black Velvet used to be called Schenley Black Label but because of its exceptional smoothness, this name was thought more appropriate. A blend of distilled and matured Canadian whisky and among the top best-selling whiskies in the United States. On the nose, this whisky contains mild aromas of fruit and spice with subtle under notes of vanilla, cinnamon, oak and sweet honey, among others. On the palate, Black Velvet is very soft in texture, silky smooth, with mild spices and citrus slowly flowing into flavours of honey, oak and vanilla. The finish is deliciously smooth!
