Don Julio Añejo is a feat of craftsmanship that tastes sublime, they have strict requirements at Don Julio when it comes to the selection of ingredients. Stricter requirements and regulations than required by law, for example, the Agave plants used must have grown for a minimum of 10 years before being used in a Don Julio tequila.

To allow flavours and aromas to develop to maturity, the añejo is aged for a minimum period of 18 months in American bourbon barrels.

Flavour & Aroma: Don Julio Añejo has lovely fruity aromas and tastes of Agave with wild honey and caramel complemented by subtle notes of strawberry, cherry, lime and tangerine, among others. The light and dry finish has a spicy touch with wild honey in the background, sublime!
